  • There is an age requirement for registering your marriage, which is 21 years old for the male and 18 years old for the female. 
  • Both individuals should not share the same family or blood. It means the lineal descent of wife or husband cannot marry with each other. 
  • The registration of marriage should take place between 30 days after the actual wedding. 
  • A minimum of 3 witnesses should be present at the time of registering a marriage. 
  • Primary identification documents will be required.
  • The capacity of one's body, i.e. physical and mental, should be met according to the standards.
